This HowTo will guide you through the steps required to set up your development environment for Objective-C on Windows, it will also help you set up your first SwinGame project.

  1. Install Xcode
  2. Get SwinGame


Install Xcode

Before you go any further you need to have the get Xcode, Xcode can be downloaded, with an Apple developers license from: https://developer.apple.com/xcode/.

You need to download the full version of Xcode for this template as you need the IDE that comes with Xcode to develop your SwinGame projects.

Once you run the installer for Xcode you should be ready to move onto the next step...

Get SwinGame

Now that Xcode is setup we need to get a SwinGame project template, this template is the one that you will use to develop your games with. You can find the Objective-C template in the Downloads section.

The Objective-C template for Xcode is an installer, when you run it, it allows you to create SwinGame projects in Xcode. 

Once you've run the installer simply create a new project, select SwinGame and you're ready to start creating!
